All of this is based on an implicit assumption that the cost of installing and maintaining our own local solar facilities has to come from whatever monies we can scrape together from our conventional earnings (Mostly doing bullshit jobs, in bullshit industries, which are wasting energy, and polluting, and which are going belly-up, anyways!) .
But what if you got the money to install and maintain those facitlities from somewhere else, for free, in fact if it was even indexed to the amount of solar infrastructure you had in use?
What if you could depend on your share of that facility to supply you with a basic income, which you could grow, by growing the installation?
With the ability to now also generate hydrogen directly from solar, which functionally replaces fossil fuels with none of the pollution, from reversible fuel cells which also back up the solar installation at night, all installations can now generate income from hydrogen fuel produced by the overcapacity which is not used locally. Add that to cryptocurrency generation, and we see a facilty becomes financially independent in a very short time.
All we need to kick off, is govenment grants from defence spending redirected to widespread solar hydrogen implementation, and everything changes, very quick.
It all adds up to a new kind of economy, where all money is issued based on the Joules of energy received and being put to use from sunlight.
Fundamentally, work done using solar energy, is the only kind which is additional to the work done by nature, which is solar powered itself.
All work done powered by other means involves destruction of work done by nature.
Hence all pollution. There are no exceptions to that rule, other than solar.
