All interesting points, but one key point, that nothing can destroy capitalism, is wrong.
It can be, and must be destroyed by plugging into the energy of the sun.
There is no way round that, if we don't do it then all life on earth is finshed, in the same way as it is finished on Mars.
The process of plugging into the sun is underway already, but whether or not we successfully complete it is still very much at question.
I would beware of reading too much into Tolstoy and Marx, they were geniuses no doubt about it, but they only had a very small fraction of the information we have now, especially the connection between physical energy and economy, which they didn't have any of the tools and techniques to analyse, that we do now.
