All great but you expressed something here as a hard rule which looks to me like it forces you to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
The baby being the solar Ai, which looks like it's the key to truly fixing the global energy problem which is actually behind all the climate disaster and eco problems.
The truth, that even it's "owners" don't dare to admit, is that it's ending profit, it's showing us how to use solar energy to do everything for free, by assimilating it, making it solar powered.
Its putting all business for profit out of business, and that is an incredibly good thing for the planet because it's profit which is mathematically directly related to increase of temperature.
But it's a problem for us because we were fully dependent on profit, monetised destruction, to get at least the minimum energy we need to metabolise, about 3kWhrs per day.
This is what you should recognise is at the root of your fears over Ai, you know it could take your bread and butter. But if you had a necessary alternative that it might generate for you, a very generous alternative, that it would provide to you, permanent solar indexed stimulus would you carry on writing? This is a question everyone really needs to ask themselves if they wrote or created for money rather than love, maybe they just were not cut out to be writers or creators in the field they used to make money with, and maybe they should move into doing something they really do love, if they were free to do so.
Solar indexed stimulus would give us freedom to choose what we want to do, rather than what we have to do, given we are currently enslaved by profit.
Medium itself might think that would be a problem because they would lose a lot of writers. But if the platform itself became solar powered using money-fuel tree architecture that I've described in Medium, it could become independent of income from writers, and it's motivation for providing a platform for users changes, from seeking an income from users, to just appreciating their creation. Fewer writers producing better quality articles that Ai might aspire to would not be bad, but also more folk would come out who never wrote before, freed up again by the Ai and solar indexed stimulus, to move to writing, that they might have always wished they could do.
If we are honest, do real creators really see Ai or even other creators as competition?
All of this would be a very different, actually creative world, reducing global temperature rather than increasing it, therefore bringing the planet back into goldilocks zone it once was, before we trashed it, and are continuing to trash it, as long as we live for, and on the energy of profit/destruction.
Everything short of this, the full final solution of the global energy problem, is surely just virtue signalling, again motivated just by a wish to maintain profit, whilst profit itself is the unsustainable actually dishonest energy lie, is it not?
