Absolutely, there are an infinity of materials that can be used besides aluminium, for the things that might be made from it on panels. Besides, imagine the amount of aluminium in fossil fueled things that can be recycled. This story just looks like clickbait designed to further discourage positive thinking about solar. Not a very positive story for a "Happy Neuron", it seems to me.
