Absolutely I agree with you. I take hope from knowing that this inflation we are seeing, is affecting those with massive capital more than it is anyone else, and they are the ones in control of money issue. Now we are at something like 10% or more solar powered, putting tens of GigaJoules of energy per second into use in every developed country, those Joules being uniquley donated, from an extraterrestrial source, have to be reflected by issue of money. This is a proven tenet of "Austrian Economics", issue of money must be balanced by issue of product, otherwise the money will devalue.
So, as the solar product continues to scale up, we will see inflation continue to worsen, probably exponentially, since it is becoming less representative of actual valuable energy product, until it is issued to reflect it.
Money-as-debt can't do it, because the energy is fundamentally donated, not extracted, so promises to pay, whiich in the end only translate to promises to extract, can't do it.
It has to be money donated, and as long as the money is not donated, inflation will continue to devalue their capital.
That looks like nature at check, with one move to mate, as far as I can see. I have every confidence nature is gonna win this one.
I got rid of my last car, a 4x4 diesel and have since built myself an electric bike, it runs on less than my computer, I live in the city, I am basically on bare minimum I need to survive until the free money is issued... after that, I want to celebrate by driving something special, a hydrogen converted Bugatti would do... :)
