A well done scary story, thanks for posting. But a couple of things overlooked. We are the ones driving the technology. It is not the other way round, and it never will be. The problem is that by focussing blame on technology, we do not focus on the real danger. The real thing driving us to create machines with ever more horrific effects; Greed. The vast majority of investment in technology including Ai is with a view to make profit, and unfortunately, there appears many opportunities to profit from horror. Until we get over creating machines to feed the greed monster, we will keep creating more monstrous machines.
