A Plea

In a world where nations clash and fight, Where darkness shrouds the day and night, Amidst the turmoil and the strife, Let’s seek a better way of life.

With open hearts and open hands, Let’s bridge the gaps, let’s heal the lands, For in our unity, we find the key, To change the course of destiny.

From Gaza’s children to distant shores, We hear the cries, we see the wars, Innocence lost in the storm of hate, A plea for peace, it’s not too late.

Let’s sow the seeds of empathy, To quell the flames of enmity, For in our hearts, we all must see, A future where all can be free.

It’s not just governments, but people too, Who must take steps, who must renew, Our commitment to a world that’s just, Where in each other, we place our trust.

In the face of challenges and despair, Let’s stand together, show we care, A poem, a prayer, a heartfelt plea, For peace, for love, for all to be free.
