'63 for me. If anything I just missed prosperity when younger, UK was going through some changes that removed all the heavier industry including shipbuilding, which my first town, Greenock, was famous for (James Watt's hometown also). I didn't get a lucky break until my thirties, when I moved South to England, after two degrees and a diploma in Engineering, finally got work at a high level in Engineering, and moved up to becoming chartered. But in 2017 realised it would all be for nowt if we cant stop consuming the planet, there would be no planet for my daughter, and maybe her kids one day, hence now doing the research I've been doing, I probably already undid all the financial "Progress" I made when in gainful employment - way I see it is what is the point, if it all ends all the sooner, just because we couldn't be bothered fixing the root problem, which to me looks like profit itself is the problem, since money is energy and there is no physical possibility of energy profit, its all an energy con, the energy in profit is just energy ripped off from the planet. We just use money to do the dirty work of the energy con.
It will change soon, because it has to, there is more or less a gun held to the heads of all of humanity, by nature, with the ultimatum "Do the right thing or die", including all the richest, they won't be able to wiggle out of this one, we all equally on the hook, but there might be some convincing to do yet, before they start to see sense.
Far as I can tell, you can see sense. I think you do well when you put in your quips here and there, showing your view of the caustic system, it all helps.
